25 more days to go…………

December 7th, 2006 by ahlong4eve

25 more days to go before the end of year. Time really flies man. Was just reading my past blog. Remember the 1st TNYF camp I went, the "PUNJ Singing Group" at "Mdm Grace’s" Wedding, the talent nite at PUNJ Camp 2005. So many things happening last year, and who can foorget the NYE dinner with the fire works last year man. Hope that this year will be another great nite.

This Sat will be Li Chuan’s Wedding, it’s this period of the almost everyone life that most of your friends are getting married. Thank God for blessing him and Hui Ling in their relationship.

Not going to publish my "End Of Year Closing Speech" yet, many things to say.

Ya, end of the year is also a time to meet my friends who are coming back from oversea like Alex and Elliot. It feels like their "Re-Service" ha ha.

Hope all of you have wonderful year too.

TNYF Camp 2006

November 29th, 2006 by ahlong4eve

What a time I had. I was at the Northbrooks Sec Sch for the TNFY Camp 2006 the past few days. Truly enjoy myself with the fellowship I had with the youth and I also make some new friends!!! 261120061955

I really enjoyed myself so much with the youths. The things we had done together like the Captain "Food/Fruit" ball (dun know whether correct anot), water bomb, IG ball, the repelling, the amazing race, the talent nite and of course the singing and jamming sessions (though I dun know how to play anything) what a great time we had together.

Great to see the new pri six youth join the gang. Hope that this is the start and the youths will continue to enjoy this kind of fellowship during our weekly gathering every Sunday. Too bad I do not have many pics but I do have a number of videos…. So if you TNFYers what some, come get some. Just email me and I will send to you.

Great to have spent a wonderful time with you guys. See you soon.

Half Day Off on the 1st of Nov, Wednesday morning

October 31st, 2006 by ahlong4eve

Got half day off today cause got meeting till quite late last night. Things been fine for me but still many many work to clear, and also my forever messy office table. Have been busy looking around for a venue for my "Major Event" and pray that all things will be smooth.

Thank God the haze has been cleared liao, also feel like I am in Genting.

It’s been quite awhile since Ronnie left and have been leading the flock, even most of the time the flock didn’t turn up for DG. Maybe they miss Ronnie???

Visited the Chinese Garden last Saturday with my BB boys for Kayaking session. A very fun experience, never knew that there is a Sea Sports Club there. The boys are having fun in the water, even the world has a bit more "things" in it. And we also met a four legged friend swimming inside, good thing Daniel and me never go into the water.

Daniel is "taking a long break" from BB due to his studies, pray that he will do well and "come back" soon. Ha Ha.

Also went to the Sentosa that Saturday night, they got Jazz there at the Siloso beach man. But Jazz is not really my cup of tea. Hope that in the future they will have something like Canto Pop or wat, that would be nice. And ya, the admission fee now is $3, used to be $2 if I am not wrong. It’s been quite awhile since I’ve been there. Everything shoot up so fast, but pay still increasing slowly. How sad ma………………..

It’s All…….. Who’s Fault?????

August 24th, 2006 by ahlong4eve

People ah people,

Why do people always makes things difficult. Can’t there just relax and give others a break??

Me no know abt you, but I do meet this type of people in different parts of my life.

Some people just know they got to do some things and yet they act blur, thus in the end we have to settle for them…..

Some people know that it is not possible to or it would be very difficult to accomplish the task, and yet they still except you to handle it…….

Some people just show that type of a face that as if you own them millions and millions of dollars, which turn you off from the start of the day…….

Some people just know that you needed help and yet they just let you "Drown" by yourself…..

We can go on and on, but we have to remember that no one can make your day better other them yourself. Maybe wat we can remind ourselves is not to do to others wat you no wan others to do to you.

So if you know you got to do something and dun feel like doing it, please do cause you know how bad others may feel to do for u……

So if you know the task is super tough and hard to finish, dun act smart to take up the job. Know your limit and the limit of others…..

So even if you "Have A Bad Day" in the morning, dun spread to others cause it can be worst than losing your money…..

So if you know people needed help, please go and learn how to swim before people drown, I mean help them if you can…..

At times, we just forget how we should treat others.

When young children were taught to share their things with others yet the adults are so self-fish most of the times. Let’s remember that it always take a little smile to start your day. Make the day of others by not destroying theirs.

Let remember to help one and other, cause that’s wat we were taught in school, if you dun know your school work, ask your classmates and teachers to help you. Help is all around, dun always think only others can be your help, you can also be the help of others.

Stay Tune… Kicking Off Soon….. and a little of something else…

August 13th, 2006 by ahlong4eve

Great start of the week, you know wat…. CHELSEA lost!!!!!!! Ha Ha, though not a Liverpool fan, but great to see Chelsea in such a big mess. This weekend will be the start of a new EPL season, hope that Man U can get something out of this season. And of course hope that Wigan stays up, they played well last season.

Been listening to some old cassette tapes over the weekend; the Grasshoppers, Zhang Yu and "U Ke Li Lin". The songs now a days really no fight man. In case you wonder why not CD, cause the van I drove only got cassette player. Playing those old songs brings back some old flashes of the past.

Wonder any of you also do the same as me, once in a while aside our Jay Chou and May-Day and listen to Jacky and Beyond. Feels good man. Think I will start looking for the old CDs man.

By the way, my "4C classmates" not sure have you received the email from Sin Yi regarding her project. If you happen to read this, maybe can help her?? Dun treat the mail as if it’s from someone else. I will be doing it later tonight, will be great to help our dear old friend with her studies. so all you Sec friends who got the mail….. DUN ACT BLUR, ok??

Good Day Everyone!!

MAN U RULES!!

It’s National Day again!!!!

August 10th, 2006 by ahlong4eve

How time flies, August liao and another National Day has passed. Still remember the time during election when we complain a lot about this and that. But come to think of it, really have to thank God that our country had been under the rule of good leaders, if not how could we enjoy the peace that we have now. Though things can be better, but they will never be prefect.

Think it might be good to slow down our pace at times to see how blessed we are, the things that we have. Come to think of it, we came to this world born with nothing so why we keep saying we do not have enough of somethings (money??!!).

Caught up with some Sec school friends last weekend, during our conversation we released we had left Sec school for almost 10 YEARS!!! (Yes, remember 1996)

Talk about our school times, the friends and the teachers. Wondering how are they doing. Think I should scan and post some old photos to share? (think can hear some screaming for my girl classmates. Ha Ha!)

My class 4D, remember the National Day cheering competition where we won but the news letter printed otherwise (so sad, wonder anyone of you still kept that "Fake" letter). Ha, those were the days where we dress up and print our face. How fun was that man.

It had never came to my mind that I would be where I am now, considering those who know me ten years ago. Really thank God for all my friends and teachers and people that had been in my life, in one way or another. It’s really encouraging to have you guys by my side. Pray that by the next National Day, I can meet up with those who only read my blog and had not meet up for a chat for a long time. Pray that all of you will be fine, my dear friends.

"May you seek the same peace that I am having"

No one plans to ……

May 18th, 2006 by ahlong4eve

Yo,

Hello to all my dear friends. Really busy now a days. Talk to some of my friends and also came to know some of the problems that my friends had been going through. Well, humans are just humans. The bottom line is we just wan the best for ourselves, which at times lead to not thinking abet others.

No one plans to hurt anyone from the start of a relationship, be it BR, family and even friends. It just that we humans at times forget that loving the people around you means alto more than just thinking of them putting you 1st place, but is ourselves to put our love ones at 1st place.

Come on let Ah long talk a bit and share with you something that I often do. Hew..

People always think that Eve and me are doing fine, no fights and troubles, peace and loving forever. The fact is, we dun see eye to eye most of the time and I can been quite unreasonable at times (and so is she). At the end of the day, when a couple 1st come together the 1st think on our mind is "this is the person I will take good care of…..". Love is a big word, it is not only for good times also but bad times.

How sad it is when people work so hard in their life, earning big bucks to buy a big house for their parents to enjoy life, to earn and save enough money for our children future, but things sometime just dun turn out as we plan. We spend some much time and effort in our work, and most of the time we fail to notice or care for the reason for working hard…. our love ones.

How many times have we tell our gif or bf " sorry we can’t go out today, because of my work….. "

or how many times have we tell our dad and mom " sorry I’m not coming home for dinner because I’m eating with friends ….. "

or how many times have we tell our good old friends " sorry, very busy nowadays, can we meet some other time ….. "

My dear friends, please let be reminded not to forget the people around us that cares for us the most. At the end of the day, it is your family, love one and true friends that really cares abet you. Our work is just work, we are there to " make things move ". Image  a tool that serve well in a workshop for 20, 30 years that fix and serve all the cars that come in. Did a good job all the time, but when one fine day the tool is damaged, unable to serve the workshop any more, " IT " will be thrown away.

Some things that we view important in life, in the end might be worthless. Chinese saying " Money is forever earn not finish de ", but how much relationship can you earn, where you lose it.

Abt 3, 4 weeks ago I’ve attended 3 funerals. And you can see how sad their family and friends are when their love ones left them. Ones life is short, cherish the people around you before it’s too late.

Last words:

for those who are suffering, dun give up hope easily. give them time and show concern.

for those WHO cause the suffering, WAKE UP!!! reconcil before it’s too late.

Let us not forget who our 1st love is. Sometimes, say sorry works… At least for me….

God bless to all my friends

Rain! Rain! Rain!

January 8th, 2006 by ahlong4eve

Wat a day man!

Been raining since last night non stop, how nice it would be if it snows here. While due to the rain, me today took taxi and bus to go out. Dun remember when is the last time I left my bike at home liao.

After service at church, was invited by Su-lin to her house for "Penang Laksa". Of course it was cooked by her mum if any of u wonder. But she still put the stuffs together so in a way she still make the laksa. Thanks Su-lin.

Spend the whole afternoon there, watching Discovery Channel. And like wat Ronnie say, they dun give u an answer and it just leaves u hanging there without answering any of the questions. In the end, I had more questions than when I first watch the show. It talks abt the plague on Egypt during the Exdous, questioning the bible’s reliability if God really took away the phoaroh’s son or whether the son was killed by the Hebrews. I think it is still best to read from the bible. Sometimes we man just confuse ourselves, dun you think??

Thank you, Yew Minh, for the ride to Clarissa’s house. Thank you, Li Chuan for the short journey. We made it in time for Chew Chern’s and Edmund’s farewell. Really great to meet up with them again, of course we will miss them. Thank God for the both of you. You’ve been faithfully teaching us every week. I guess the rest of the guys will miss you too. And to those who were not around, check out the photos. Here’s what u had missed.
